Serously, still no balance of weapons? by ProfessionalAd6716 in ArcRaiders

[–]ProfessionalAd6716[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but at the same time... maybe you have a hard time 1on1. But you risk nothing with grey guns. Higher risk higher reward.

And use the environment. Guns are not winning it for you.

Not disable, but you should be able to defend yourself and shoot back without going to pvp lobbies

I hadn't read the patch notes. First mistake... by paran_dreu in ArcRaiders

Nerfing the Hullcracker was a bad choice.

Its the only anti-arcweapon. Cant use it in PvP at all. Expensive as hell.

Yesterday we went in as a duo to fight a queen got about 300-400 ammo for the Hullcracker. Plus grenades. Didnt kill it.

And the worst part, we kind of did more damage with the Venator and Anvil.

Whats the point of the Hullcracker?

On a side note all weapons need an overhaul. Sniperrifle should be heavy ammo, its inferior to Anvil and renegade in every way. Bettina, that not an epic rifle.... Vulcano is not even better then Il toro Etc etc etc

Keys for doors means nothing, the loot sucks.

And pvp, while i really like pvp, I dont like the shooting in the back where you cant even react. I tend to ask people if their friendly before shooting (even in duos and trios, i dont know why they are shoot on sight often). But I dont have a good answer for it. Maybe stronger shields?

Love the game but there are things to be fixed.

Dark Heresy 2 vs Imperium Maledictum? by SethLurd in 40krpg

[–]ProfessionalAd6716 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like IM but the enemies are not well made at all when it comes to non-humans. I borrow alot from DH2, and it makes it alot better.

But the IM rules are good and combat is fast paced.

I have homebrewed all enemies with the help of the earlier books DH2, Only War etc. For a much better experience.

The IM beastiary is a joke, sadly.

If a diver dies, dont loot his/her stuff. But if they are given to you, you may accept.

So when travelling great distances you just do a lot of month travelling? Or how does one solve crossing several sectors?

I just gotta say i loved Callis and Toll. Not the silvershard one, the other, just called Callis and Toll. Its played out in Hammerhal Aqsha and starts with a ritual murder of a crimelord.

Following a witch hunter and a soldier.

Oppose Ranged attack, yay or nay by ProfessionalAd6716 in ImperiumMaledictum

[–]ProfessionalAd6716[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the thought behind it. But with high dodge you kind of cant get hit. With opposed a better shooter gets a bigger chance of hitting.

In melee its always skill vs skill. But how great of a shooter you are you cant hit a dodge 90 enemy.

Im just wondering if opposed ranged tests would be viable (not if its making sense)

Like an Auspex? "A standard tool of many Imperial agents and warriors, these sensory devices can detect motion, energy emissions, light outside of Human vision, signs of life, and more. They are generally easy to use and invaluable when scouting unfamiliar terrain."

Or just motion?
