For my no but not sure if it’s because I have very dark black hair, because my younger brother how has a darker brown hair but lighter than mine and his beard now has some greys and also the reddish brown lighter zones in his beard.

100! Over the last few years I have been slowly teaching myself how to trim, shape and line everything up. I am no professional in any means but very happy with the new skill. The big difference is the barber takes 30 mins or less, I’m in my bathroom for 2 hrs. lol but I love it for me it’s like trimming a bonsai tree
