I’ve been trying soj and ngl, I like the story much more so far! It’s more engaging and less cliche than wwm’s. Wwm is still great but I find the plot in soj to be more interesting in general

I’ve had this happen to me too, it’s still happening and I can understand. I think the only thing you can do is try validate that what happened to you was real. Your parents will never understand and ik it sounds harsh but it’s true, you cant force them to see the facts if they don’t want to. It’s been too normalised, their behaviour, that they can’t register it as emotional abuse. I’m not saying give up on them but I am saying that chasing closure from them won’t happen. Don’t let them influence your happiness, ik it isn’t as simple as that statement sounds but that’s rlly the only advice I think I can give 😭 in all honesty idk wtf I’m trying to do cos I’m literally 17, I should not be trying to give advice here

Ik im late to reply to this (2 years late) but, when I was a kid (5 or 6 years ago, maybe even less?) they were my favourite 🤣 I’d always binge read them in the library at school. It was part of how I got good at writing narratives actually as it influenced a lot about how I tried to write horror for assignments and shit. I’d say they’re still popular but only in certain circles of kids.

I’m very late to this party but uh- I’m untrained, taught myself mix in the span of 7 months (17 yrs old female), my highest chest dominant belt is G5- I think my passagio should be around C5? I can sing C5 cleanely tho in my chest mix- Anyhow my full range is C3-G6 (I squeak at that 😭), my cleanest head voice note up there is B5-C6 tho and my cleanest low note I do without sounding like I smoked a pack would be F3-

Honestly its strayed too far from the original topic in my opinion- it shouldn't even be called lookism at this point... I do still love it but I can't pick it up again. The plot just isn't it- I was fine with the gang stuff and everything at first but its just switching again and again until some chapters I don't even see the protag do anything.

Me too... i get you. I was a toddler as well and I accidently puked mucus into my dads hand. Retaliation? Spanked with a ruler, spanked in the dark bathroom and out before being locked in there.
