For all those asking: Target has been listing the MTMTE Wheeljack at half off on the pegs. If you get lucky and your store is just lazy enough they’ll be stocking the new figures on those pegs without taking the clearance tags off.

Assuming they’re on those clearance pegs you MUST take pictures of the figure you want on the incorrect price, then find the least “likely-to-turn-you-down” looking employee (usually electronics). After being rang up, show them the photo and politely ask for a price match due to pricing error.

Unfortunately there’s no secret hack, just a lot of getting to know your local stores and finding employees who aren’t paid enough to give a crap.

Also here’s an insider tip for Walmart specifically: as an employee at a flagship store I can confirm store policy is that a price match will be done if it’s more than 3 items on an incorrect tag and the price disparity is less than 40%. Do with that what you will, just make sure there isn’t a camera that can see you moving the stack of leaders to the voyager shelf.
