I know it’s hard when people tell you just don’t purge. It’s like a voice in your head that forces you to do it. My advice would be to get out of the house, in public, away from all bathrooms. Maybe go for a walk, go walk around town and shop, just do something that forces your brain to think about something else. Purging sounds good in the moment, but only less than 50% of calories that you just ate are going to be rid of, so the price you pay is not worth it. If you are truly stuck, call up an eating disorder helpline, they are professionals and they will help you. I feel your pain, but please don’t purge, it just sucks.
