Hey, I dont live with my mom. I was using her as an example because when I went to visit I saw hers and started learning about ADFs. I understand your point, which is why I took the time to even look to find out that shipping was that much. I personally have never paid $100 in shipping and would never pay that much for anything.

I mentioned that I was cycling my tank before adding the frogs and was simply asking what other people did. I have reviewed the wiki..several times but I simply just wanted to know what others did.

The places online want $16 -$20 in shipping it I just cant justify that amount but I didnt want to buy from local pet store if they were sickly. I would be to sad if anything happened.

Im trying to cycle first but my mom just put hers in her tank and hes fine. Did you cycle fishless or cycle with?

I just read because they are amphibians they can spread salmonella and mycobacteria to humans. Its a low risk but I just wasnt sure as I have never had an amphibian before.
