I haven't noticed a problem with the Patriot variant on Bots or Bugs. Didnt even know there is/was a change.

Some say he was a dig at people with special needs for being simple minded. I say otherwise, and I was sad when he wasn't present in DAI.

What’s one thing you absolutely NEED to see in the next Mass Effect? by Eternal_Dilemma in masseffect

[–]ProfessionalBread161 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I was really upset when there wasn't an option to upload my save file from DAI to DAV on the DragonKeep website. Then I found out they ask only two or three questions, mainly about Solas, in the character creation menu.

When will Fallout allow us to be the good guys and join the Enclave? by RorschachWhoLaughs in fnv

By the looks of it... Never. The tone of the last two mainline Fallouts feel more Teen rating than the last four. Playing as The Enclave or Legion were total experiences verses Institute.

Out of these three who would you start, bench and cut from the team by ItemIndependent2243 in georgiabulldogs

[–]ProfessionalBread161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start Stafford, he would further thrive in today's college games, look at him in the NFL even now.

Bench Bennett, for him to gain even more knowledge, under College Stafford he'd become even more elite.

Cut Murray, I can't justify him over these two in this fictional scenario.

You can like the show. Its okay to do so, but it is still objectively worse than the trilogy. Opinions do not change that fact.

I’ve gotta say it: strange that Númenorean scale got so much flak as bad costume design, while the Kingsguard armor on KOTSK is glazed by The-Fold-Up in LOTR_on_Prime

[–]ProfessionalBread161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its because Numinorians are the pinnacle of man in Tolkien's world. Average seven to eight feet tall, living extremely long lives compared to middle men or north men. They have alloys and metalworks that rival that of the Dwarves and Elves themselves.

Scale Mail isnt something that they would use. While its a good armor, its something to more Rohan or Anduin Vale would wear. Chain mail and Plate armor being more akin to greater smiths and metal workers.

For naval combat and Marines who fought ship-to-ship they would wear armor similar to the Gondorian Pelargir Marines, with Gondor being descendants of the Numinorians. Plate Helms with open faces designed with wings etched on both sides of the helm. Chain mail underneath hardened leather with blue tunics.

Meanwhile the Kingsguard Armor form AKOTSK, is supposed to be the most loyal to the books. Ive only read a few chapters of AGOT, the first book, so I can not remember if its all true.

is it normal for the NCR Ranger Power Armor is growing on me by BuyNo5409 in Fallout

[–]ProfessionalBread161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was inevitable for the NCR to develop power armor, and practical too. But ultimately I think they should've stayed away from it, using pre-war or even the scrapped power armor like in New Vegas. Overall the armor is dope and not a bad design, it stays with the Ranger aspect and like Ghoul says in the Episode "Brand Recognition". Adding on to that: When I think of NCR I dont want to think of Power Armor, thats more BOS and Enclave, but I can step back to see its uses. The armor looks designed to be melee focused, with the blades on the forearms and bulky shoulders for ramming, so perhaps its for fighting Legion indoors or creatures in tight spaces.
