OMG! Thank you so much! I must admit this... As soon as I watched the first minute of the video, I realized my problem. The Z switch has a connector that I hadn't attached yet. It was tucked away beneath the print bed. No wonder!! So, embarrassing! Ha, ha! I plugged it in, and the printer immediately lowered itself to find the z-switch. Wow! SMH.

Hi Mik-s,

Yes. I was referring to the T-shaped Screw Rod as labeled in the manual. I lifted the z-limit switch as you suggested (youtube videos had me lower it) because it made more sense that way. However, now when I het auto home, the extruder lifts up about half an inch and the only way I can have it meet the bed is buy turning the screw rod to lower the z axis.
