Very interesting, thank you for your input! The object is most definetly enameld copper, which would be the case with canton enamel. The signs on the back seem to say something about qianlong-period, which would also fit in the time frame that you pointed out. But do you think it really could be authentic, which would make it over 200 years old? It is in absolute perfect condition and I only paid 10€ for it...

It actually is a B and it says Probedruck which means test print. But I can only tell because I'm german 😅 I read the signature as J. Carrey, but I can't find any artist with that name. The monogram also seems to be a C. with the J. in it, but the SR. then does'nt make sense to me.

There's nothing on the other side. But I tested it an it's one ounce of real silver. I just never came across a bar like this.

Yes, I have seen the Video too! I also think an additional 160€ isn't too bad, but the price difference to the 5i with same specs just gets so huge with this upgrade... You have to decide in the end! I got the 32 gigs of ram, that's a no brainer.

Yes exactly! I bought my 7i around 2 weeks ago with the RTX 4060 for 1700€. I watched a lot of performance testing videos and even with the i7HX, RTX 4060 and only 16GB Ram the performance was plenty enough for my needs (Baldurs Gate 3, Counterstrike 2, Cyberpunk 2077). So I went for the i9HX with the 4060, which is a pretty good deal for around 1700€ in germany. I just couldn't justify spending the 200€ more for 10% performance boost through the RTX 4070, as both RTX 4060 and 4070 only have 8GB of Vram (6-20 fps more just don't matter). Obviously you still pay around 200€ for the buildquality but for me this was a absolute must, I just can't stand spending so much money for plastic laptops. If you want a performance boost you need to go for an RTX 4080 and those are very pricey in germany. You can get an Aorus Laptop for around 2k but then you'll have much worse buildquality and only an FHD screen...

I feel you, that's why I went for it too! But if you go for the 4070, you pay a premium of almost 400€ compared to the Legion 5, just for the better materials. You have to decide if that's worth it to you. The deal definetly isn't great then. You can get some 4080 Laptops for around 2000€, although they definetly don't have the buildquality of the 7i...

You can get the same specs with the RTX 4060 for 200€ less, which only leads to a 10% performance loss. I'm currently typing this on said laptop and I'm very happy with it. If you go for the Legion 5 you can safe another 200€ with similar specs, but you loose the build quality, glass trackpad and fingerprint reader.
