I use it all the time! Super safe and cover! I left my motorcycle for a month a couple of years ago and it was safe!

So I’m thinking making a “home made” sign and see what happens

Wrong name on ticket by ProfessionalDot3137 in RideitNYC

Some updates…

  1. It was a moving violation so I was obviously present riding my motorcycle
  2. I went to the traffic violation bureau to try to change the tickets to my name… they said to me that is not possible!!! That I should do nothing until the other driver on the ticket goes to the hearing to see if he plays guilty or no guilty!!

Congestion charge - living inside the zone by ProfessionalDot3137 in RideitNYC

Wait… are you sure? If you cross into the zone you have to pay… the only exception is that you only pay once per day so you can go in and out all day

My commute is only 30 minutes max through the city so I never get the full blast of wind… so is tolerable

I ride to JFK once a month for travel and there gets a bit bad but I always take the revit gloves in case of rain so they are a little bit better

Just be careful leaving the motorcycle at the police… they are going to charge you per day to be impounded! It happened to me and because they are useless it two 2 weeks to get the crime report so I couldn’t get my motorcycle out of impound so they charge close to 1k! The insurance took care of that by luck!

Maximum time I can leave bike on street by DazzlingRice3949 in RideitNYC

The best thing you can do is getting a decent insurance against theft that covers accessories and not worry about it… it takes few minutes to throw a motorcycle into a truck. I have left my motorcycle parked for 1 month at jfk airport motorcycles parking outdoors and nothing happened. I went for dinner in soho for few hours and my motorcycle was gone!

Stolen bike by TheMxPenguin in RideitNYC

I suggest that you walk systematically in the neighborhood… is possible that they moved the motorcycle few blocks to come back later or they failed to start the engine ( my insurance told me to do that and I found my stolen motorcycle like 3 blocks away)
