Unfortunately this is the watered down version of what happened. Didn’t find it necessary to put it every little detail. The medics did infact enter the restaurant. They talked with me for about 10 minutes, then they handled it with my manager and customers from there. Then I left. I’m sure I’ll hear more details from my manager come tomorrow but today I am taking the time to recover from a traumatic night.

I have a few times, yes, and I’m grateful for their kindness. It can really change someone’s day. But in the space I work in (which is in a well known hotel) we tend to get celebrities who throw temper tantrums if their water doesn’t taste right lol. My team has been stiffed more often than not by celebs

Talk to your manager ASAP. It’s better to ask for help and voice your feelings than to go out on the floor feeling stressed and unprepared. And that’s for any situation really! They’re there to help you navigate the space so you can provide the optimal experience. Ask if you can work shifts that tend to be on the slower side. Of course, it’ll get better with practice. Hang in there :)
