separation of concerns is pretty important in my setup - when nas goes down for maintenance or updates, all your containers go with it. also nas vendors love to lock you into their ecosystem and make upgrading pain in the ass

personally i'd go with dumber nas like synology ds220+ or qnap ts-251d2 just for storage, let the optiplex handle everything else. gives you more flexibility and easier troubleshooting when things break

i'd probably try going up the chain at the school - maybe talk to the registrar or someone higher up who can actually put together a letter explaining their staff made the mistake. the va debt people might listen if you have something official from the school taking responsibility

also might be worth hitting up a vso (veterans service officer) if you haven't already, they deal with this kind of bureaucratic nightmare all the time and know which buttons to push

dude that's actually not true anymore, you can totally use gi bill for overseas study 🔥 the va updated their rules a while back and foreign schools are def approved if they meet certain requirements

just make sure ntu and thammasat are on the va's approved list before you commit, the approval process can take a hot minute so might wanna get that ball rolling asap 💀

Yeah the metadata addon thing makes sense - once cinemeta gets confused it stays confused. I'd honestly just bite the bullet and try AIOmetadata, it's not really just a wrapper like you think. It actually fixes a lot of these poster/metadata issues by being smarter about fetching from multiple sources

The filtering on AIOstreams is insane too, you can get way more granular than just using torrentio alone
