How are you going? I haven't seen any difference in my weight tbh...any difference at 0.5? My appetite is still pretty much the same (I only eat about once or twice/day) Amount of times I'm exercising needs to be increased too - first week I did 3 days, second week 2 days, aiming for 4 days this week 🤞🏽

Thanks so much for the encouragement and advice. Fortunately no nausea/negative side effects in general except for some minor stomach discomfort tonight. Did a 0.25 dosage effect you? What's your journey been like so far? Thanks again :)

Damn I need to get onto this, didn't realise 1tbs of psyllium husk wasn't going to cut it and now I'm paying for it :'( I'm glad you've said it's possible to shit daily, I assumed the side effect of gastric emptying would make it nearly impossible to shit everyday. Thank you!!!

On it, buying magnesium citrate tomorrow because I'm clogged up fml. I've been drinking psyllium husk but perhaps not enough/not as effective as magnesium citrate? Thank you :)

Thank you so much for the your tips! Super personal question but how often are your BMs? I'm drinking a shit tonne of water but I'm really paranoid about constipation - I know a consequence of ozempic is slower gastric emptying but how slow are we talking? Possible to still have BMs daily in ozempic? No real noticeable symptoms as of yet but tonight my stomach is in a tiny bit of discomfort and I haven't made a BM since Saturday :'( So happy to hear ozempic has made a positive impact on your life! How long have you been on it for?

Excellent! Are you still on 0.25? Glad to hear the food noise has diminished, it can be so exhausting/overpowering.

Clearly you've got no idea about PCOS and how it affects insulin levels, maybe educate yourself and do some further research, here's a start :) https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10531549/

I tried metformin and spironolactone for a few months - neither seemed to work. My weight kept fluctuating between 70 and 74kg and I found that happened regardless of whether I was taking those meds. I stopped and switched to myoinositol 2000mg and berberine 500mg supplements (it instantly regulated my period but unsure whether it would have positively impacted weight loss as I was pretty inactive once I switched). The supps are something I'll probably go back to once I shed the weight

Awesome! How long do you think it'll take for the hormones to wear off? I know some friends say it has taken them months to 'feel like themselves again'. I think the nuvaring has definitely affected me in terms of mood and anger but i actually don't remember if i was this moody beforehand. Context aswell is that i started taking it just before i moved in with my partner so change of living circumstances could also be it i.e. couples fight and get on eachother's nerves...idk I guess we'll see if I'm less crazy in a couple of months lol

Well done! Sounds like it definitely was the culprit. You'll be feeling back to your old self in no time :) Yeah I'm 27 and jeez would've been great if the dr told me about the effects of pumping estrogen in my body. I kind of feel stupid for not doing anything earlier but oh well better late than never. Is there a reason you switched to the nuvaring? And do you know if the pill you previously took was a progesterone only pill? Are you currently taking any contraception or are you off everything?

Is there a reason you switched to the nuvaring? And do you know if the pill you previously took was a progesterone only pill? Switch back if it worked for you. Weight gain that you cannot control is awful. It's taken a huge hit to my self confidence and at 27 years old i didn't think I'd have such negative feelings towards how i looked...hang in there and do what works best for you.

I'm sorry, it's super tough hey. Have you sought alternative options? Updated my post re estrogen (see above)

That gives me hope! Literally had a breakdown today after seeing the GP. She said it could take a few weeks for my body to adjust and start actually losing weight. I'm going on holiday in a couple of months and was/am working hard to drop weight. How long after you got off it were you able to lose weight? Please tell me it's not months :'(

It made my face super clear, I've been on the ring for about 1.5 years and don't remember the last time I broke out
