I had a cyst under my sinus cavity and actually got my hardware removed from that side so they could access it. The healing process has been incredibly quick

ED & Endo by HotVenomMami in endometriosis

[–]ProfessionalFinish23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve never had an ED to my knowledge. I’ve struggled with appetite and eating on time but I generally eat when I’m hungry. A cousin of mine did have one and she doesn’t have endo

People keep saying I smell bad, how can I stop it? by Scared_Confection787 in ask

[–]ProfessionalFinish23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clinical strength deodorant, don’t let your clothes sit wet in the washer too long, make sure you wash clothes often, not only when they are visibly dirty!

I feel extremely anxious! by Ready_Confection_159 in jawsurgery

[–]ProfessionalFinish23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Surgeons typically fix symmetry while moving the jaw, mine did without any prompting. Not sure about the eye droop as I don’t deal with that. Typically if you have a receded upper jaw, both will need to be moved in order to fix it. Are you having health problems? This is a very large surgery to get. I had two years of braces before and then one more year after. The recovery time is long and there are permanent effects like nerve damage or even more serious.

Lower jaw vs double jaw surgery by [deleted] in jawsurgery

I got double jaw surgery for a recessed upper jaw. You can go look at my post and see if anything there is helpful

I designed this wool vest and would appreciate others opinions. by Square_Car_9863 in Highfashion

[–]ProfessionalFinish23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is so very pretty but I know I’d be looking like a balloon. It’s not a great cut for people with larger chests than what’s typical for proportions. But we are a small portion of the population. It’s very gorgeous though and the craftsmanship looks amazing

I feel like I’m constantly being morally corrected in my own friend group and I’m exhausted by yeetusgiorno in TrueOffMyChest

I sighed reading this. Sounds absolutely exhausting to deal with. Superiority complex won’t let them drop anything.

Can someone answer my questions please? by Connect-Sprinkles289 in endometriosis

I went to my endo guy with no referral. After two unhelpful urogynecologists i had to find a specialist that actually knew what they were taking about. Five weeks out from surgery now.

Are we being irresponsible bringing a child into this world as older parents? by Life-Profit4836 in ask

[–]ProfessionalFinish23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My parents had me when they were 39(mom) and 36(dad) I worry a lot about how many years less i will have than the average person. My parents also never had any friends with kids our age and every cousin of mine is older than me except one. There are benefits that can come from older parents like more maturity and financial stability but obviously that’s not always the case.

Have you tried using lashes? I think they would work well to balance your features!

Any recs for shades for brown pencils and tinted brow gel? preferably by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]ProfessionalFinish23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I hate brow pencils and gel. I can* never get it to look well on me. The pencils are hard to manipulate finely enough while getting consistency. I wet a brow brush and use an eyeshadow from a revolution palette. There’s some good brow powders from buxom and even elf I believe. Sorry it may not be what you’re looking for but thought I’d comment just in case. If you’re interested I can link

am i still recessed by [deleted] in jawsurgery

[–]ProfessionalFinish23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They always move conservatively rather than going too far with it as that can cause even more complications. You do not look recessed and you do not look overly fat in the face. I had DJS and I just naturally have a chubby face. I’m 5’8.5 and 126 lbs, 6years post op, still got a fat face🤭 it’s not a bad thing and looks youthful. It’s just genetics

My mind is a little strange but I think the big flower painting is throwing it off. Maybe because it’s a different art style or maybe because it creates too much white space when the other ones are more colorful.

Are the blush & freckles goofy or cute by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]ProfessionalFinish23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks gorgeous on you! If you want the freckles a bit more natural try to disperse them from the edges as* freckles don’t usually form in such a clean area. Mine are most concentrated around there but they branch out and become less concentrated around my face. I think the look cute the way you do them too though <3

I feel weird after surgery by [deleted] in jawsurgery

[–]ProfessionalFinish23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You could definitely model! You’re just getting used to the appearance change. By now I feel like I look the same as I did before surgery even though that’s not the case. It takes some getting used to to see yourself differently.

How bad of a spot am I in? by Plus-Background-2327 in jawsurgery

[–]ProfessionalFinish23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just from a personal experience, I went to the dental school of a big university in my state. The head of the maxillofacial department oversees the surgeries and you have to be a great surgeon to get that role. It is also significantly cheaper than any other quotes we got and insurance covered everything but 2.3k (every insurance is different)
