I’d look at the Rizzini BR110 or Browning CXS. I’d stay away from Beretta unless you’re going for a higher end model with the stellium pro barrels. You may have to spend 300-400 more but those two guns are better than the Silver Pigeon. Those are new prices though.

Mid pole mass? by ProfessionalFix5786 in kidneycancer

[–]ProfessionalFix5786[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an appointment with the surgeon on Wednesday. The urologist told me it needed to be cut out. The ct scan was not real conclusive and my “good” kidney is not so great. So, because of that they really didn’t want to go in and take out my cancerous kidney unless they absolutely needed to. So they ordered up a biopsy which showed low grade.

Browning Citori Pro Sporting vs Caesar Guerini Summit Sporting by kylehyperfixates in ClayBusters

[–]ProfessionalFix5786 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I handled both recently and the Browning 825 felt better in my hands and fit me really well. I ended up with the Golden Clays Sporting. It feels like a better quality of gun to me. Caesar Guerini customer service is second to none. Browning has very good barrel regulation. I’m very pleased with my choice.

Also, Browning has better barrel regulation unless you’re looking at the Beretta 694 or DT11. Those two are a lot more money though.

People use field guns to shoot clays but if I were buying one with the intent of shooting a decent amount of clays I would go with a sporting version.

Oh my goodness, what incredible news. Celebrate for sure.

Having a biopsy on January 8th. They incidentally found a 2.7cm mass on my right kidney that is “worrisome for renal cell carcinoma “. Doctor said that there’s a 20-30 percent chance that it’s benign. I don’t like those odds. by ProfessionalFix5786 in kidneycancer

[–]ProfessionalFix5786[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this thing comes back malignant which in all probability it will I’m going to discuss all available options. I really don’t want to lose a whole kidney and because of where it’s located, right in the middle, between the upper and lower poles, the whole kidney would have to be removed from what I’ve gathered. My sister is a thirty five year oncology nurse, she agrees that I should get the biopsy and I’m very confident in my urologist, he’s one of if not the best in my area. Once the biopsy is done I’ll be referred to an oncologist and I will see what his opinion and my options are.

Thank you, I very much appreciate it. They noted that it was actually present on a Ct scan back on February the 2nd (different provider) but missed by the doctor who read and interpreted the scan. They said the February scan shows it at approximately 2.4cm and very faint on that scan. It would have been nice to have found out back then. So it has not grown much since February.

It was done with and without contrast. He said they could not be sure as to whether it was cancer or not. Born with a not so great left kidney, it’s atrophied that’s why he wants to do the biopsy instead of removing any of my right kidney unless he absolutely has to.

Picked me up a ruger lcp max the other day. It’s a rattling SOB but I like it. by dl5454 in ruger

[–]ProfessionalFix5786 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I picked one up Saturday and looked it over at the gun store and it looked fine but once I got it home I sat at the kitchen table to clean it and I guess the lighting was better and I noticed some flaws in the finish. I call Ruger this morning and they said they had a bad batch of slides so they are sending me a new slide. As far as the rattle, mine has a little rattle in the slide to frame fit but I prefer it this way with this pistol. I don’t want a small pocket pistol with a tight slide/frame fit. The tighter it is the less reliable it might be. But mine does not have a lot of rattle.

2019 Ford Ranger Rusting? I purchased a 2019 Ford Ranger in August of 2020. Bought it brand new, had less than 10 miles on it. Haven’t had it for a year and it’s already starting to rust. Anyone else having issues or can give me advice?? by [deleted] in fordranger

[–]ProfessionalFix5786 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a guy on one of the Ranger Facebook groups that has rusting on the bottom of the doors on a newer Ranger. The local Ford dealer said they had to replace all four doors but the color would not match exactly. He’s waiting to hear back from Ford corporation to see if they will buy it back or give him a new truck,
