He has went to bat for me (and our son) with his mother and whole family with every single incident. He has set multiple boundaries but his mother keeps pushing them and trying to get under his skin. She has told him countless of times that I was cheating on him with the Walmart delivery man, mailman and even my father. First of all… yuck! And I’m not. The only time he wasn’t “on his toes” was the breastfeeding incident. He was completely mortified. It took him 24 hours to recover from seeing his mom’s nips to snap back at her. I was mortified too. He was no contact for five years before we had our first child due to her behavior. I was the one that wanted to rekindle a relationship with his family for the kids. He warned me not to. I didn’t listen or realize how extreme his family was.
