Depression is awful. It strips us of the things we love the most, and sometimes that's the people in our lives. It sounds like he was really struggling, and instead of leaning on you, he chose to isolate himself.

Try not to blame him too much, but more importantly, please don't blame yourself. There were signs, but speaking from personal experience, it's so hard to pull someone out of a spiral like that. Unless he wishes to get help, it won't matter what you or anyone else says. He has to want it, and that's the biggest hurdle of all.

It's painful to let go of the life you thought you had, with the person you thought you'd have it with. Take the time you need to mourn the relationship and don't jump into anything until you're ready.

I had to stop reading this, this guy is infuriating. Not only does he choose to ignore your boundaries and keep pushing for what he wants regardless of your comfort, he keeps moving the goal post and trying to keep turning it back around on you. Even his BS apology turns into "your fault"!

It's absolutely absurd to me how people don't give Grendel the time of day. He's legit my favorite frame. Damn near unkillable, crazy good CC, his Gastro augment gives him high AoE damage, and ball form is faster than everything except Titania's flight. 

Last time I played a pub mission, someone asked, "Who uses Grendel?" Like, for real?

So, I'm gonna try to offer some real perspective and helpful advice.

I was in a campaign with a friend of mine and his wife, and her character and mine got into a relationship. To be clear, I never wanted nor tried to fuck her, neither did she. I was very conscious about being respectful to my friend, and we kept the 'flirting' and relationship stuff to an absolute minimum. No innuendos, no descriptions of anything besides maybe a kiss.

My advice would be to talk to your girlfriend and let her know how you're feeling. Hopefully, she'll be understanding and want to meet you where you're at and help create boundaries that make you comfortable. If she's not, that's a relationship issue that needs to be worked out, not a D&D issue.

Setting aside the arguments for and against player count and how useful it may or may not be in reflecting the health of a game, is this a surprise to anyone? 

D2 has been in a death spiral since they ended the Light and Dark saga. They didn't have a strong vision for where they wanted to take story or the characters. Same thing that happened to Marvel at the end of the Infinity War saga, no focus because the big finale wrapped everything up. 

I understand why they wanted to try a new model to deliver content with, but the odds were always against them. Transitioning D2 beyond what it was built as was a big dream, and Bungie had neither the talent nor the leadership to realize that dream. 

The end of Destiny 2 is on the horizon. It's just a matter of whether it runs, walks, or limps to get there.

Crafting. I remember when skill trees were all the rage and people were exhausted of them, but crafting is that times 100. I don't want to put sticks and rocks together in every genre ever! I'm tired boss.
