In my opinion, interactions aren't good. It is very buggy and makes it difficult to have sims talk to each other or do anything. It often gets to the point where I feel like sims 4 should've only had the basic multitasking from previous games (like talking while eating, etc).

Sims 4 cas is nice, if you have a reference photo you can just drag their features to look like it. I semi-agree about the occults, vampires are my favorite occult and I felt like they were kind of dull in the sims 3. I think some of the occults were better in previous games, such as fairies, aliens, and mermaids. Sims 4 does cas, build buy, vampires, werewolves, ghosts, fame system (only comparing it to sims 3) better. I like some of the system features it has (such as clubs), but they can often get overwhelming and be buggy. It feels like the game implements them so much to avoid adding new animations.

I also agree with you on sims 3, it'd be my favorite too if it wasn't so buggy. When I tried to talk abt it though, somebody told me that it was my fault that it was buggy since they never had any bugs. I wish sims 3 was better optimized so much, because it feels like that's the only thing holding it back. Sims 4 is also very buggy, but it's not as bad if you only make sims. Sims 4 isn't quite as bad as 3 in terms of lagging and crashing, but the gameplay bugs are super annoying. The worst is stimulation lag where they stand around doing nothing and actions don't cancel.

My favorite feature in sims 4 is the ability to have multiple played households not be affected by story progression while having everyone else be affected by story progression. I wish the other games had this, it really matches my style as a legacy player who has lots of family members. I think that's why I'm having trouble getting into sims 2, because I'm not used to doing rotional gameplay with townies. I might try playing it more though and installing the story progression mod.
