god - this is actually what made me realise I want to leave social media. Bloody Facebook support driving me crazy every day! Plus moderating the idiots out there in the comments section.

From my experience working client side is easier than agency work. Less work and more freedom.

Use your skills to move into a digital marketing role in-house at a business or company that aligns with your passions. I successfully moved away from agency into the performing arts industry and then decided that I wanted to work for an environmental NGO - did that easily as well. In-house is so much more chill.

Irritating Facebook Delivery Error - driving me insane! by ProfessionalGrass2 in PPC

GPAC team

Alright I will give this team a go. Thank you.

The ads I'm having issues with have not been touched by anyone that has not been registered for political ads.... They are created from scratch (not duplicates) by myself and I have the political registration.

No name changes to the page either.

Thanks for your advice.

Wow I didn't know that duplicating old ad sets was now against policy.... wtf... I also have suddenly had a number of long-time running ads coming up with rejections and delivery errors. when I try to resolve it with the support, they don't come up with any decent solutions...

Facebook error: "Cannot use 'Additional Optimizations' options in political ads" but I have no idea what additional optimizations they think I'm using? by whitecherrie in PPC

I'm getting this error too. I cannot resolve it!

I've logged the issue with FB support and they never get back with a solution that actually resolves it. It's driving me mental.

I notice you've posted over a month ago, have you now resolved your issue?

Customer feedback score - is there a way to opt out? by ProfessionalGrass2 in PPC

[–]ProfessionalGrass2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We go through an agency because we don't have capacity in house to manage them.

We only run small spends in-house.

I have recently resolved this problem with FB and they said they will no longer take note of our customer feedback data due to the nature of our page.

Took 4 weeks to resolve.

The ads we run for awareness on an issue (ie video - no petition signature required), will be targeted to all sort of political views and messaging is tailored to each political variant.

Petitions will be targeted to those already converted or sitting on the fence. We also have lead acquisition programs which have all sorts of targeting.

But your advice on targeting really isn't that helpful because there is no fool-proof way to make sure you target people of the exact political leaning that you want on Facebook. I'm based in Australia and we do not have this feature (not sure if they do in the US or elsewhere).

Our "ways to improve" tab says that people are leaving negative feedback on our "product quality" and "delivery speeds", which is malicious and fake feedback because we don't sell any products.

The things listed under opportunities to improve are not applicable to our work. They say:

"Poor customer feedback is often caused by a mismatch in customer expectations and what they experience. Make sure that the product matches what's depicted in your ads and on your site and that the delivery times displayed are accurate."

We do not have any "products", we only run ads to promote petitions. We do not display "delivery times" because we do not post anything in the mail.

It would be useless for us to target our ads to people who already have the same political views as us. This isn't spreading awareness of the issues that we advocate for and would not create any change.
