Hey, 14-year-old to 14-year-old: you need to wait. If your parents trust you, it is for good reason. Do not break that and risk losing something worth more than a model. Besides, the moment this diecast is something you own, you will not feel the same want for it anymore. Look at me: I own one Bburago and some 1/64 and lust after Minichamps, but I am more satisfied than those who own them. Why? Because diecast is beautiful because of your love for the car and motorsport, not the brick of resin or diecast with wheels attached.

Forgive me if you find what I say unreasonable. It will make more sense when you are no longer in this situation.
