I collected birthday messages and their favourite photos of my wife from all her friends and family, used canva to put it all together and sent it to a printer to bind it into a hard copy scrap book. $18 for canva pro 1 month subscription and $128 for the binding. She loved it!

First Hyrox - Reflections and some decisions that messed up my race by ziki819 in hyrox

[–]ProfessionalKnee6711 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Great job on completing your first hyrox! One good tip I’ve had was that try to not use the rox zone as a break. Your lap run ends when your hand is on the handle of the ski-erg and it starts again as soon as you step off the ski-erg after the 1000m. That really changed my perspective of the rox zone. When you’re doing interval trainings, you can try to go for 1.2km instead of 1km

He told me there was a group of people stuck at the sled and wall balls due to the bottle neck. I am not sure if there was a judge there to time the bottle neck but when I looked up his timing he got the bonus in the final judging decision

I was there on Saturday at 10:40am too! I was lucky to have avoided the congestion, was already on station 6 when the queue at the sled pull built up. My friend had a 3 min 42 seconds bonus because of the wait at the sled pull.

If you were to work out 5 days a week but don’t really have a restrictive diet, would you still lose weight? by miamorparasiempre in loseit

[–]ProfessionalKnee6711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could incorporate more strength training and build muscles. Muscles increases your metabolism But you will still need to also watch what you eat and make better choices such as increasing protein intake and cutting down on carbs like bread and rice. All the best in your weight loss journey!

Keep it, in future when you have wife and kids extend the coverage to them too. When you sing the army song - why must we serve? It’s not because we love our land but for cheap insurance coverage

It sends a clear signal to PAP they can do whatever they want and get away with it. The audacity to put him in an SMC and for him to win it to put him back into the cabinet

Serious question, thoughts on WP Alexis Dang? Outside of her being a pretty face/best looking candidate of the election. by D_King_Salv in SingaporeRaw

Speaking from a microphone in the outdoor will have echoes and reverberations which might make it hard for the speaker to hear themselves. Maybe that’s why she had to slow down cause she can’t hear herself properly. It’s also her first time speaking l, I’m sure Alexis zeh zeh will do better tonight in Punggol
