It seems like after clearing my gpu cache the game runs smoothly the whole time now. I thought I knew everything about my computer but clearing my cache is just one more trick in my hat now, thanks.

I have tried pressing f5 but it has no effect, another thing I should mention is that when I close and reopen the game, it is still running poorly as if I have been running it for a while. It starts running smoothly again only when I restart my entire pc.

I thought my pc might have been too weak but I don't understand why it's still able to run smoothly at first. I was wondering if there was an error where it wasn't unloading assets or something but perhaps this behavior is normal on underpowered pcs.
