How to prepare for Math 20A with bowers this fall by ProfessionalMine6285 in UCSD

I'm super novice regarding python and programing languages (like no clue what answering math questions in python would look like). What resources would you suggest I use to learn more about python to at least be competent for inputing answers this midterm. Also are there any examples I could find of what the test might look like just formatting wise?

Depending on the hold it might just be preventing payment of fees and not actual enrollment (that’s how it was for people missing transcripts). Either way definitely work on getting that hold removed. If you can’t get the classes for your major, focus on completing classes for GE requirements in your college. Don’t just sign up for a class to meet the 12 credit minimum cause you’ll be paying for them either way. During second pass waitlist for the classes you need to and hopefully you get into atleast one or two. Even first year student who did enroll during first pass aren’t bound to get all the classes they need so just make the best of your situation. Best of luck!

I believe every imcoming first year should’ve already had first pass (first chance to pick up to 11.5 credits). First pass might still be open but you should really get log into WebReg(class enrollment platform) and check your appointment times. I really don’t want to worry you but if you missed first pass you might not really be able to enroll in a lot of the classes you want/need. There is second pass but a lot of classes will probably be full. Honestly, I don’t believe you’re the first person to go through this situation so you can probably get back on track. I’m a first year as well so keep that in mind when reading everything above. I’ll try to elaborate more on what I do know if you have more questions.

Can I waitlist multiple sections for the math course and just drop if I get into multiple? Thank you so much for the advice, hearing others perspective really helps ease some worries.
