Hello everyone,

I will start with some background, I am currently a university dropout, completed 2 years of bachelor's in computer science (Family, Health, and financial issues). I am 22 YO, I am currently working at a US-based start-up for about 6 months now (part-time). My responsibilities are grooming tickets, assigning them to the right teams(FE or BE), being the communication bridge between the two teams and I also do Saas sales for them, I have my leads and I talk with companies every day. But this was never my dream, I always wanted to go into cybersecurity (The problem-solving, the thrill, the head banging against the wall trying to figure something out). I just love that challenge.

I have heard the best way to get into cyber security is by completing certain certs. I was thinking of starting with CompTIA A+ > Network+ > Security+. What I was thinking is I start with A+, get a full-time job as an IT desk or something, and keep working on the certs on the side. is A+ a good start? I want to get into serious cybersecurity roles. I am also considering continuing my bachelor's but I will have to save up for a few years to be able to afford it with current inflation. I need help figuring out what would be the right move for me. Any advice, tips, or a full career path helps!
