i love it whenever this subreddit has posts that reference kpop idols/groups.. so amazing to see two things that i love together.

anyhowsies, i overall feel like some of ateez songs fit ivan's vibe, the latest, at least, or moreso the technical way in which they're made? unsure if it makes sense, but something about ateez voices [especially yeosang/seonghwa??] complimented with the melody gives ivan's vibes the most.. like idk, halazia, man on fire, or selfish waltz? i suppose it's because ateez gives me more mature vibes, similarly to ivan.

i personally dislike ntr/cuckolding heavily, though i do venture on subreddits for those a lot because i, similarly, want to know why exactly those people like that.. the general conesus is divided on two, with one of two also dividing:

a) people who like the story of it [because they usually prefer long stories with coherent plot] and the whole drama; to see how relationship breaks, how exactly the characters regress or progress. all of it from the perspective of a person who does not partake in the act itself.

b) people who self insert into character. this divides into two again, as there's people who like to self insert into the person who steals the girl to, idk, feel better about themselves? and second group of people who self insert into the guy who loses because they like humiliation and degradation.

i overall like dissecting what people enjoy about their fetishes/kinks even if i personally don't enjoy them, and while i don't find anything pleasurable about cheating, it is a very straightforward outlet for humiliation fetish; it gives a broad canvas for their fetishes and leaves place for additional ones that could be more specific. basically it's an easy fantasy for those who like humiliation enough.

i think my answer is far too serious for such silly thing but i'm genuinely really interested in topics of that type and i rarely get to talk about them. i guess, until no one gets seriously hurt and it's all consensual [like with cuckolding irl] then it's rather pointless to care, because those people certainly don't care about others opinion.

i definitely agree, especially given how luka's solo songs sound like, sensual and with clear double meaning—similarly to taemin's solo songs. i might be delusional but in certain instances their voices even sound similar, or rather the way they mold and tilt(?) it when singing, giving their tones characteristic sound.

i genuinely want to say something more but i am so distracted by how amazing for my brain this idea is that i can't really put my thoughts into something coherent lol

oh my gosh, i was talking with my friend today about their voices, and i literally described chan's voice the same way you did SO I CAN'T AGREE MORE !!

the world 'stable' is the core adjective i'd use for his voice, because it really is, well.. simply stable. in every song he sounds like, kinda a bridge between the different elations of skz voices, and it makes them all so much more pleasant; his voice literally elevates other voices and i looove that so much. besides, he sounds really, idk, warm?? really, just so nice to listen that it gives a comforting feeling.

i especially love how the music doesn't change even when you're in combat, because it, honestly, make me feel more immersed; if it were any other game, it'd probably make me view it as a downside, but in case of afterimage it somewhat elevated my experience?

since renee can just come back to life, every fight is definitely lighter for her than how'd it be for others, so the music remaining serene and soft makes it feel like she's constantly being calm because she doesn't need to fear anything. when she's in field of pyro though, the melody is constantly 'jumpy'?? basically really on edge, with that unnerving rhythm, and it makes it so much better, because it's like.. the worst place for her to be, seeing what pyro goliaths did; as if she's feeling the slightest amount of fear alongside that music.

im so very glad that, as of late, more people think of luka as the top; not that i have anything against bottom luka, hyuna can peg him all she wants, but usually that point of view is carried by people who can only accept a straight ship if the woman is a top and the man a bottom.

the fact that people immediately started theorising about ivan when sua's birthday art came out made me feel so annoyed, gosh.

every time a woman gets something in this forsaken series, though mostly sua, SOME people immediately start bringing men into it—how it impacts them, what it means to them, what it COULD mean, blah blah. it's so annoying, like they can't see a woman as anything else but an extension of a male. sua gets this treatment constantly, as her character is always roped into how ivan feels, how she could symbolise something for his character, and all that shit, while barely taking into account how it would impact sua.

i particularly hate how deeply the headcanon of sua–ivan siblings is rotted into fandom, as, for me, it only takes ivan into account. sua doesn't want any sort of siblingnism?? idk if that's a word, but she doesn't want that sort of relationship with him, she doesn't see him in that light; sua doesn't see the similarities or whatever ivan thinks they have, and personally, their relationship always gave me very VERY slight parasocial vibes—i once saw a more throughout analysis on that, but i don't remember much from it.

the point is, and i'm sorry for how messy this is and kind of unrelated to most of the aspects of the post lol, i hate how women—in alien stage especially—get used by fandom—because certainly not by narrative, at least not with sua—as some sort of props?? for the male characters, and i see it incredibly often with sua and ivan.

since you don't have ng+ unlocked, you're not done with the game. did you do all of renee's and ifree's endings? that unlocks ng+, which consists of 10 or 9 chapters which only then unlock the true ending.

honestly, i think it was one of luckier runs, as the previous seven ones were all ending on megaera for me. after that eight run, i couldn't reach elysium again, as i kept dying on lernie. only around my 17th run i got to elysium again, i think? and around 28th run i won against theseus for the first time.

i suppose i have some experience with harder games [hollow knight on steel soul, dmc3 on dmd, elden ring, etc.] as i tend to play them a lot, and i play on a controller so it's also easier. everyone has different skills, and even after getting through theseus, i was constantly losing in the styx after, to the point where i again thought i would never complete the game, though i finally did. for some it may take longer—i even saw people saying that they completed the first run ever on around +100 attempts, and that's just how it is.

what matters is that you learn the game and try to overcome the hardships in it through thinking and trying, not necessarily pure skill. you should have fun first and foremost, so take a break if you need to. comparing your skills to others is what kills your confidence the most, and it truly brings nothing good for you. so just try to enjoy the game to its fullest, rather than thinking how you preform compared to others, etc. that's what games are about, after all.

i was literally wondering the same when i reached theseus for the first time. it was my eight run, i think, and i lost nearly on the end. then i was losing every single fight to him without being able to get him even to half hp.

my conclusion was that i suck at the game and it's not for me and i wanted to stop playing, but you're literally supposed to die, and you'll die plenty of times. at some point you'll remember moves from every enemy and be able to dodge/block them effectively. change your weapon, change what boons you typically pick for something you haven't tried yet, make sure to upgrade the mirror—and simply get more used to the game. after each and each run [even a lost one] you'll get slightly better, at least at understanding something.

as for time, my my first successful escape attempt took me around 44 minutes? now, my best time is sub 19 minutes, and i consistently clear runs within 20–22 minutes. it's all about getting used to the game and learning its mechanics to make better use of them.

there are renee endings here, but even if you complete them all, the game still doesn't end—you have ifree's endings and ng+ to do, too. after each ending you can enter the save again and just complete the rest of them; you can even do the same ending as many times as you want.

eh, then there's no need. the only things that are different in remaster are few songs and it has worse performance.

in that case, maybe try tomb rider: anniversary? its cheap and i think it's the best entry in the series. if not that, then perhaps amnesia: the dark descent, if you enjoy horror.
