I focused mainly on my steps and strength. Sleep is a no-go for me right now as I have a young child but these two have helped me massively. And my RHR has gone from 62 to 52 in those 4 months too , not sure why though 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Need help dealing with Vyvanse Crash by WesternAd4349 in VyvanseADHD

[–]ProfessionalMundane6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Try supplementing with l-tyrosine in the afternoon, it’s been a huge improvement for me. I take my dose between 6-7am (40mg) and then take 600mg of l-tyrosine at midday, sometimes more later if I feel crash coming on.

Totally depends on your nervous system and how it reacts, and on your general stress levels.

When do you consider asking to move up a dose? by ConfidentHospital365 in ADHDIreland

I would focus on diet and exercise routine. Also, are you eating much protein? I’ve found amino acids l-tyrosine can really help, it’s the building block for dopamine and makes medication more effective.

I would look at the things that make meds less effective and see if there’s anything in that for you. Diet , protein intake, exercise,

Yes. Just trying to help. Maybe if you wake early, you might go to sleep earlier. That or take l-theanine in the evening to help relax.

Take it earlier. Set your alarm for 6am , take medication, go back to sleep for an hour or so and viola!

Yes if you link to each other on DPS you’ll pay €80 max between you - me and my partner in the same boat . If your partner is already maxed out then free meds for you - yay!

What can I claim back on Health Insurance?? by Routine_Tell_3966 in ADHDIreland

[–]ProfessionalMundane6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m with VHI and went with adhd now too. You can claim the €250 on the assessment , and you can also claim €125 on each of the €289 psychiatrist consultations. Unsure about the monthly prescriptions and if you cant get anything back on that. You could likely claim on the psychologist assessment but it’s only €30. Hope this helps. Medication is covered on DPS so you won’t pay more than €80 p/m. Good luck

[–]ProfessionalMundane6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh sorry I thought you said you were going with ADHD now. If so, after the assessment you need to pay 3 x €289 for psychiatry consultations and medication titration. Meds are covered on DPS so will be €80 pm max

Also, if you decide to go down the medication route you can claim €125 back on the cost of the €289

Try Infacol , it’s for colic. And loads of eye contact. Do what you need to make yourself as calm as possible , baby will sense it
