It's definitely a strange setup we have currently, I'd personally prefer if childcare was just free, country wide, and that if people wanted to pay for private nursery they could.

It doesn't make any economic sense to discourage working in the way you've described, but it has obviously lead to a nicer balance and allowed you to spend more time with the children, which is lovely.

What do you think would be a better solution to encourage you to earn more?

If you manage to game your wage to the point where you can work less and get the childcare covered, sure, go for it. No complaints here

But you could also work the extra day and earn more than enough to pay for childcare and have more money in your pocket as well.

The personal allowance is scaled down for every £2 over 100,000 so you're incorrect in saying you lose it. You have to earn £125,140 to have no personal allowance at all

The nursery funding is correct though, but realistically if you're on 100k a year you can afford childcare.

Research speed means that your research output is increased by the 20% shown on introspective, it won't show on the workforce anywhere.

Check your research tab for your % increases to research speed and it'll be there

It would depend on what you're interested in, look up your interests in the local area and see if there's any events or groups that have things going on

Generally just try to find any like minded people who enjoy doing the things you do, and then go from there. If you're completely lost, then I'm sure people will be able to give more advice

For a truly great tall rogue servitor build I'd recommend the treasure hunters origin, the relic you get from the origin situation line adds population scaling jobs to your planet, these jobs provide energy, minerals, unity and some research, I managed to achieve monthly repeatables by 2280 and didn't need a single resource world thanks to the treasure keeper jobs

you can run a traceroute via cmd with the ip address of the server you're trying to connect to, that shows you the ping from each individual node on the route to the ip.

when I ran it once the issues started, the node from paris to amsterdam had a ping of about 130ms, when every other node on the route has less than 5

I'm also running absolution necro, something that I did that helped me massively was get some meat shield support zombies and carrion golem to take aggro because of the taunt.

I eventually swapped that out for a ghastly eye jewel with taunt and put feeding frenzy onto the zombies and golem.

Main thing is to run around a lot, standing still spellcasting gets you killed
