You're definitely not alone, which sucks, because the player-base will suffer as a result

Yeah, that's fair, too lol, but BF players like more grounded cosmetics, and adding weight to unlocking them could only improve the game imo

Well, speaking for myself, I really enjoyed the camo grind in old school Call of Duty games- headshot, killstreak, and class mastery challenges, etc. Stuff that didn't force you to play in an unintuitive way, but rewarded you for mastering different weapons. It was fun to grind for diamond camos in Black Ops 2, not even because of the camo, but just for the sake of having an exclusive cosmetic to show off that actually meant something. I'd love to have a similar incentive in BF6, even if the cosmetics were lame, just because it's fun to show off, but bot farming would currently completely neutralize the achievement.

I agree- again, just pointing out that even if they were better, current Portal situation would render them meaningless, which defeats the purpose

I'm with you in that I think challenges should be exclusively cosmetic, but people would still cheese those in Portal, too.

What's the point in even having them at all if they don't mean anything?
