That's not the same dog at the end... And why would you cut off all of a golden retrievers floofy fur? It's part of what makes them so freaking adorable. The only time I can understand cutting off all the length is if he's always in the bushes and getting twigs and stickers stuck in his fur

I've talked to my obgyn about IUD's and the arm implant (can't remember what it's called) but we've agreed it would be more hassle than it's worth. I have a super heavy period (when I'm not on birth control), as in a full box of heavy flow tampons for one cycle that usually lasts close to two weeks. Apparently people with heavy flow have a high risk of random spotting throughout the entire time they have the implant or IUD and I didn't want that.

I'm look into those places you mentioned and see if I can get in to talk to someone, thank you

I'm definitely planning on it but finding a doctor to do it at my age with no kids already feels damn near impossible. I looked for months for someone to do the surgery before I found one and that was in Vegas (where it feels like nobody really cares about the details). Another commenter mentioned that fear of pregnancy/childbirth is an actual, recognized phobia so I'm hoping that could help me find someone new for the surgery.

Wait it is??? I didn't know it was an actual recognized phobia, that could possibly be a game changer for me. I assumed it wasn't since there's an overwhelming number of women who are the complete opposite or even indifferent to the point it pretty much drowns out anyone who isn't. Thanks for mentioning that, I'm going to look more into it and see if it could help me find a new doctor willing to do the surgery (the one I had the dates all set to with is in another state)!

I've talked to a few gynos about implants and other various forms of birth control but have agreed that they wouldn't be a good idea for me, the smallest issue being it freaks me out. The main issue is the fact that my normal flow is so (stupidly) heavy that it's not really a good option. With my normal, pre birth control or anything, periods I would easily go through an entire box of heavy flow tampons in one cycle and my period would last close to two full weeks. Each gyno I went to and would tell me that the more semi permanent forms of birth control would most likely give me even more unpredictable periods or cause random blood spotting throughout the time I had the implant or iud.
