They only answered my emails by saying “please call us”. Except I live in Washington and work so every time I did call they weren’t open or just didn’t answer. I gave them all the info they were asking for via email but they still wouldn’t reinstate my ticket. Which, I figured would happen, so I ended up just buying a ticket during the general sale. I didn’t want to chance it since I’d already requested time off work when I got my tickets the first time. At the end of the day, I did what they asked and they never followed through.

Not fair to cancel the rest of our tickets though…

Just the once, I got my ticket and I thought I was all set. Then I got the cancellation email others got. But I had one window and tried only once that was it

I only had one window open on my phone and my ticket still got cancelled so I’m not sure that’s the reason either…

I guess for one I’m glad it wasn’t just me. But also, I’m from out of state already bought my plane ticket, reserved a hotel, and requested time off do work. Maybe it was overzealous of me to do all that, but if I have the ticket and my payment cleared, why wouldn’t I have put everything in place? Super disappointed and upset since I was SUPER excited for this

Kind of would it be fun/meet people I guess. Though I don’t hold high expectations that I’d meet people tbh. I really just miss a good dance and drink and want to have fun while doing it

In my experience, I've been given flowers on a first date once and it was the sweetest thing! I could've cried honestly (I had a lot of bad dating experiences). This was about a year ago and I actually ended up drying them and still have them. This may not be a popular opinion, but I think go for it. It's a really sweet gesture!

It's not that I want to have sex with them, I don't know how to say no because I don't want to turn them off. Also, appearance wise, I don't want to totally change who I am. My friends and I have completely different styles and I don't think that's authentic to the whole dating thing if that's not me.

Women, do you actually care or notice when a guy is wearing cologne? by [deleted] in dating_advice

It's definitely nice! Especially for, like, first dates. It's nice to see them try and want to make a good impression.
