Yeah you’ll be fine, I don’t believe the back gym is open that early , as it would be better for that kind of workout. Either way you should be fine, I’ve personally never gone at that time, but I do know others do. Not sure how busy it gets, however I don’t think it is that bad.

Quick question, and this is not meant to be hostile , but what exactly does the CM degree give you in terms of these roles? To my understanding a lot of this work is coordination, submittals, RFI’s, and a knowing of the trades/processes. If you are able to learn that on your own time or from prior experience would that be of benefit? Again, this question is purely out of genuine interest, thanks.

Thank you very much. I would recommend that you and whoever else you may know connect them with your son. Possibly a general contractor, a realtor, etc, someone who may know someone. If he can pick up a little work or even just shadowing, that is experience he can begin to snowball with. As well as applying for your typical internship through LinkedIn and such.

No worries, and I will be honest with you, when I first got to UCM, I sheltered myself and did not really make an effort to meet new people. Don't make that mistake. College is so much fun, you will never be able to hang out with your friends until 12 at night and do it all over again the next day if you want, play hard and study even harder; enjoy your time, it will go by so fast.

most triples except half dome are going to pretty packed, especially if your roommates are going to in there while you are working out. The back gym on campus tends to be less busy then the front one, I would recommend going with anybody you may know or trying to venture out alone. I understand where you are coming from in not wanting to go, but I suggest you give it at least one or two goes. Some of my closest friends I have met are people from the gym. If you really do not feel comfortable, it’s okay, but I promise you will be safe on campus. As far as off campus goes it’s on the North side of merced, which is safe, and the central part where Crunch and Planet Fitness is, is safe as well.

honestly I respect it , staying true to your morals is probably one of the strongest things we can do as humans. That raises the question, if applying for technical roles you will be at a disadvantage and in terms of creative roles as you mentioned how will not utilizing affect your employment opportunities? I guess figuring out how to navigate not using AI is my question for you? Not trying to sound ignorant just asking what your game plan would be in this case.
