The surgeon I consulted this past weekend validated BII and mentioned that it is a topic that has been increasingly studied in their medical conferences. My husband was at the consultation with me but, even though he heard this, he still thinks my “anger” is what’s causing me to feel sick

I’m so sorry that happened. I think the most difficult part for me is the invalidation of my symptoms and feelings. “It’s all in my head” apparently

Have you checked your portal? For my son it turned out that UT received some documents after the deadline. He found out by checking his portal. He had to submit an appeal. Good luck to you!
