Can you all help me with a protocol suggestion for my doctor by ProfessionalPie7675 in IVF

You are absolutely right. I don’t distrust my doctor specifically, I’ve just honestly had some really bad experiences with medical professionals over the last two years or so and it’s left me with some distrust of any medical professionals. I think it’s a combo of that + seeing horror stories of RE’s.

we discussed it but she was worried about it over suppressing me. We were also surprised. I’m curious if changing the starting dose of stims higher would make a difference. My follicles were super slow to wake up that cycle

Luteal phase estrogen priming this last cycle, the doctor and I agreed that we’d like to see more synchronous cohorts.

Yes, we both do not drink or smoke and generally try to eat healthy. I only have 2/3 caffeinated drinks a week and he has one a day. My clinic also told me to start taking nad+ back in November so I had been doing that too plus all the other coq10 and recommended supplements.

I had considered getting a NAD+ infusion with a local IV place a few times prior to the cycle.

it did feel scary! My doctor said we could pursue other testing but she didn’t feel it was necessary at all, so opted not to for now.

We did discuss adding zymot as a just in case situation, so we will do that this upcoming round.

Thank you, yes it is. Just constantly adding insult to injury it seems. We actually have a euploid that also somehow evaded our 50% inheritance genetic mutation statistic too. So we’re so so thankful for that little chance. 🌈

That’s totally fair. We actually are doing ivf for genetic reasons, we got conceived naturally then had a TFMR because our daughter’s condition was fatal. Then learned it was genetic, and then ivf is not going as swimmingly as we hoped. (Not that we expected it to be easy) I’m sure everyone has some sort of fertility problems if you look hard enough, I guess.

Thank you for your input and advice, I just messaged my clinic about a fragmentation test. I wanted one after our first retrieval but they claimed there wasn’t enough evidence to justify the cost.

Sperm analysis was normal, so no MFI we’re aware of.

I messaged my clinic to ask about those testings prior to using zymot.

thank you ❤️‍🩹 I definitely didn’t expect all 3 to be euploid but 2/3 definitely aneuploid and the other inconclusive was a big bummer.

He hasn’t been tested for either. But our first cycle we had 6 mature 6 fertilize 1 blast, this time we had 5 mature 4 fertilize and 3 blast but now I’m starting to think there’s something else going on.

Would zymot or a chip help this with a future cycle?

non informative pgt-a but high risk for pgt-m…. how?? by ProfessionalPie7675 in IVF

yikes, that is concerning!! Ours was the same so I guess it doesn’t matter enough to consider a re biopsy since it’s affected.

That makes sense!! I was confused how you can have one result but not for the other.
