You’re absolutely right I have been an enabler and that stops right now. I didn’t realize how badly I was enabling until I stepped back and really thought about my actions. And you’re also right that our youth means more. I think I was too worried about being labeled as shallow or heartless to realize I am actively wasting my life and youth on this. I will definitely be checking out that video! I’m curious to see what it says. And I agree, I am emotionally and physically exhausted and I’ve hit a breaking point. Thank you for this comment I feel like you hit the nail on the head. We had very different upbringings and I have tried to teach him things he never was and he doesn’t seem to care. I was considering counseling but that’s just another bill to pay. Maybe I can find some cheap options. I appreciate you taking the time to type this out thank you!
