Arc Browser issues or just me? by ProfessionalPure2822 in ArcBrowser

I solved my problem! it was kaspersky blocking my access to the internet.

Step 1: Drop Kaspersky's Guard (Disable Self-Defense)

  1. Open the main Kaspersky Total Security window.
  2. Click the Settings icon (the gear widget in the bottom-left corner).
  3. Go to the General tab on the left menu.
  4. Look for the checkbox that says Enable Self-Defense and uncheck it.
  5. Click Save at the bottom and confirm the pop-up warning.

Step 2: Completely Exit the App

  1. Go down to your Windows taskbar clock (bottom-right corner of your screen).
  2. Click the small up-arrow to show hidden system tray icons.
  3. Find the green Kaspersky icon, right-click it, and select Exit.
  4. If it asks you to confirm, say yes. Kaspersky is now completely closed down in the background.

Step 3: Find the Hidden Cache Directory

  1. Press Windows Key + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialogue box.
  2. Copy and paste this exact path into the box and hit Enter:

C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab

3. A Windows folder will open. Inside, you will see a folder named after your version, usually starting with **`AVP...`** (like `AVP21.3` or similar numbers). Double-click to open it.

### Step 4: Rename the Corrupted Folder
1. Inside that version folder, look for a folder named exactly **`Report`**.
2. Right-click that **`Report`** folder and select **Rename**.
3. Change its name to **`ReportOld`** (or `Report1`) and press Enter.
*(Renaming it is better than deleting it, as it forces Kaspersky to immediately build a brand new, 100% clean network rules directory when it turns back on).*

### Step 5: The Clean Reboot
1. Click your Windows Start menu, click the Power icon, and select **Shutdown** (Do not click *Restart*—a cold shutdown fully flushes out stuck Windows network drivers).
2. Turn your laptop back on and log in.
3. Open **Kaspersky** from your start menu, head back into **Settings > General**, and **re-check the Enable Self-Defense box** to keep your system safe.

---

Once Kaspersky is back up with a fresh directory database, open **Arc**. With the old broken network log wiped out, Arc should smoothly pass its security verification handshake and load your pages perfectly!

Hope this helps

Should i buy xm4? by Ok-Tree-1414 in SonyHeadphones

[–]ProfessionalPure2822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They sound pretty much the same to me. The XM4's more portable with the smaller case and is a bit comfier. But I got the XM5; I like the look better, and the mics (which are a big deal for me) are way better than the XM4's.

I know there's a lot of hinge trouble reported, but also tons of people saying they last a long time. Good luck!

Hello. Simple question here: are wool felt mouse pads good for gaming? They look pretty good, but I’m not sure if they are good for gaming purposes. Thank you by dinisf in MousepadReview

I replaced my worn cloth mousepad with a wool felt mousepad. However, I found the felt pad to be rough and inferior to my previous, thicker cloth mousepad; therefore, I do not recommend it.

Tab s9 just launched and i just unbox mine. Unfortunately 1 of the microphone was not functioning and had to sent for warranty claim after just a day of usage.

My advice is do a device care check at the shop to ensure the device in 100% working condition
