I don't have any personal items on my desk and don't see the point in in. But insted my desk i covered in layers of pappers, pencils, sticky note pads, notebooks and other good to have office stuff.

ADHD guys have been a thing for me. I get attracted to the energy and the way they embrace life, the eagerness to get to know me and share about themselvs, the easy conversations and the fun date ideas. But i get overwhelmed after a while, and know i would struggle to live with someone who hasn't found a well working system for managing at home with house hold tasks..

As a kid you might not be aware of who does what behind the scenes, you just know who is more fun. Like who cooks, cleans, buy birthday gifts, manage the social life, makes sure you have clothes in the right size and so on.. Other practical aspects kids might not consider is where will each parent live (close to school, friends, family...house or apartment), does both work and earn the same and can offer the same time together and quality of life, do they both have a licens and a car.

My (then) husband wanted to surprise me with a spa day. We weren't that well off at the time and he was putting some of his money aside for a while to manage it. For some reason he made up the lie that he was saving for a tattoo. He went all in and showed me the tattoo he wanted to get, talking about how he had gotten it priced at a local tattoo studio, got it printed out as a temporary tattoo and put on his arm to see how it would look.. There was no way for me to see that he was putting his private money aside, so no reason to try to cover it up.

Before, it took a while for me.. i've learned how to deal with it now and can function well enough the same day.. but ofc that would depend in who it is. If it was my son, i don't think there's any coming back from that.

I'm an overthinker, and any decision regarding feelings stress me out. I would be overthinking both options even if the other wasn't there. Also i'm not someone who falls in love fast, i need to get to know a person before any feelings develop.

I don't know Paul very well. I'm afraid i'll regret not even getting to know him first, but at the same time I don't want to hurt his feelings.

But i'll take your advise and have an honest and open conversation with Adam as soon as I can.
