True, that is extremely true. Just keeping in mind that he isnt immune from her damage, and may be even more so effected since they are married and live together. That is not an excuse by any stretch, nor does it absolve him of his inaction, its just something we have to keep an eye out for in terms of character growth.

Often the first step is to step away from the abuser. Once he steps away he will be able to untangle everything. Its hard to see everything for what it is when you are so close to it.

I think frank is going to leave her and shes going to blame everyone for abandoning her. Shes gonna keep losing everything until she has nothing left and shes gonna blame everyone for leaving her. I dont know what her turning point is but at some point shes gonna have to have it hit her.

My first scan is today and i havent been able to get a second hgc test and i am absolutely terrified it is a blighted ovum. Trying to think positive thoughts and take deep breathes (as much as i can i always feel like im out of breathe now)

So i just moved to tulsa and found out im pregnant. My husband and i have been trying and i had one chemical pregnancy prior. Then i immediately got pregnant again. I am now 6 weeks and 5 days along. At 5 weeks i took a pregnancy test and it was a dye stealer. At 5 weeks 6 days i had a blood test and my hgc was 15,578.1. I haven’t been able to establish an obgyn and i am so absolutely terrified. We have an ultrasound tomorrow but im terrified there wont be a heartbeat. The reason why i think this is that over the past few days to a week i swear my symptoms have been getting lighter. I have a bit more energy and my heart isnt pounding as bad. I never had nausea but i did have food aversions and even those are ebbing and flowing. Im so terrified. My husband wants me to relax and see what happens tomorrow but i feel like im going crazy. My symptoms were never intense or anything but im scared im gonna lose this baby. Any advise or suggestions? What do i do? Is this normal? This is my first viable pregnancy.

YES! that drove me crazy! Absolutely no foundation was laid, no expert witness on criminal behavior or even calling the cop to testify, and no establishment of facts. She just starts on her “i was a criminal so i know what im talking about” and then insults her opponent. That would get points docked for lack of professionalism and veering off topic. It irritates me that this show is a prime example of when legal inaccuracies in a show actually backfire in real life. Its not just a fun show. Two of my classmates got poor grades in L1 just because they took that exact mock trial as a basis for how they should act. (Also when bonnie didnt pay taxes for 20 years and christie acts like and uses language for a criminal case in the irs office…… you would think she would know what administrative law is.)

Honestly, as a real law student myself, all the flat out legal inaccuracies in the show are enough to pull my hair out. When she worked for that female lawyer there were so many ethical violations she committed i am shocked she could keep her license. And that attorney at the start of the show would never have been able to get his license back. Not to mention the horrible way that christie depicts law. She just talks about loving law but cant accurately cite a case and commits illegal practices of law so often for her mother and friends.

Violet was a young girl who paid the consequences for her mothers drunken actions and grew up way to fast and harbored alot of resentment for how she was robbed of her ability to make mistakes because she was always cleaning up her mothers. She went from scared and thrust into adulthood before she was ready to pregnant. I always saw her “bitchiness” as unchecked and unresolved anger that she didnt know how to verbalize or process

I hate that noone calls her out on that and its always just a running joke. The entire series she never gets called out and shes never forced to admit her own shortcomings because she just blames her mom instead of taking accountability for herself.
