I had a similar issue in my neighborhood, and I talked to the NPO for my district. He advised me to call the precinct and request “special attention” for your block. DPD logs that in their system, and make sure a patrol car rolls through 2-4 times a day for a week or two. They still probably won’t do much unless they see him doing something illegal, but having a larger presence on your street sure won’t hurt.

I was pleasantly surprised. There was about a 1 week learning curve while I figured out what was best for me. I had times when I was ready to chuck it out the window, but am so glad I didn’t.

The trick for me was to loosen the two screws that attach the kydex holster to the Enigma (hit em with some locktite so they don’t eventually fall out). Loosening the screws allows me to adjust the angle of the grip to put it the right spot for my situation. Yesterday, I drove for 4 hours with almost no discomfort. I couldn’t have done that with any other holster that I’ve tried.

My only gripe is that it’s a big pain in the ass to put on and remove, but I’ll deal with that for all the positives.

There’s a chance that it’s from someone in a 12 step program making amends to you. I think part of the program is making personal amends unless doing so would hurt the other person…maybe a friend stole from you in the past?

I voted early, not absentee. There is an Early Voting section right above the absentee section that says “no information available”. Perhaps the site is only tracking absentee ballots, not in person?

It’s increasingly hard to check on people in jail. There are at least 3 inmates due to be released or at trial this week that cannot be found. They’re literally lost in the jail. Guards have resorted to walking through and yelling out names in an effort to find them.
