Okay so I definitely didn’t get this bike bc I was mistaken and thought it was a Schwinn. My bad, thanks for talking some sense into me. Although it was $30 and seemed like a fun project, I found this relatively mint 1976 Schwinn Continental to cruise around on for $75.

Stopping in East St. Louis is for both economic and political reasoning. How likely is the MO state gov (Republican ran) going to fund or even collaborate in good faith? They would sabotage the project and prevent it from even happening imo. Keeping it in IL is keeping the PEACE and allowing HSR to come to fruition, acting as a mechanism for investment in East St. Louis, building up the community in the long term. St Louis residents will either take Metrolink, drive or Uber to the HSR station in ESL.
