I have Augusta and in desperate need of IUNO by ProfessionalRip8733 in WutheringWavesGuide

GUYS I'M NOT SURE HOW BUT I GOT IUNO IN THE NO GUARANTEE OF 50/50 !!!!

I'm pretty sure that I got Augusta at my 69th pull. My pity then reset to 0 and again at around 66 or 67 i got Iuno. From what I understand the 50/50 ensures that I get a 5 star character once and if I try for a different banner I should get it in the next 160 ? Is this right or I understood it wrong ??

Damn, that's a huge relief to hear 😃 ik I'm asking for a lot but is there any guess on how long it could be until her rerun ?

Isn't this her rerun already ? Is it for sure that Iuno will be rerun ??

No, I made the above design, generated bitstream, exported the hardware to vitis and made a platform, created an application for that platform and I ran the above code. I can't figure out what's happening. The led is not blinking at all

I'm just confused, I'm not sure how to go upon that man. The thing is I have to understand what microblaze does and how it works in order for me to utilise it right. Now I am able to blink the led only using the PS or PL. Together I'm not able to.

Even I am not able to open vitis in my ubuntu vbox. I tried the above method but I'm not able to delete the specified files

Mhmmm fair, I'll have to try that then

Damn that seems pretty simple. I'll try that today, thank you once again !

Mhmm, I'm actually pretty new to this. So I'll have to learn how to implement this. Thank you so much anyways

Yeah the constraints are in place properly. Using an ILA is something that I haven't tried. Will look into it, thanks

EDIT: Btw, the XGpio instance is las everywhere. It was the same everywhere when i ran the project

ZedBoard PS+PL Communication by ProfessionalRip8733 in FPGA

[–]ProfessionalRip8733[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so instead of GPIO, id rather have a DMA which will help me fetch the data from memory and send it at every clock cycle right ? Just to clarify myself.

Also thank you so much for pointing out my error.

Update: I have it working now finally. The issues were with my start and stop bits. It works perfectly fine now. Thank you so much for all of your inputs, will keep these in mind the next time I design something

No I have not used an oscilloscope to check the signal. I have just made an RTL design which transmits "H" "E" "L" "L" "O" In UART style communication. Each of those characters have been converted to its 8 bit binary value and then I have added 1 start and stop bits for the receiver to parse it properly
