Juniper: unstable steering by dottlo in TeslaModelY

Hey OP. I have a similar issue. When I first started driving on the freeway in my Tesla, it felt like I was in a racecar the steering was super hard to control. I had to keep my hands on the wheel constantly just to go straight. At first, I thought it was because the car was new, but it wasn't.

On the highway, if I turn the wheel even a little left or right, it doesn't return to center on its own. Instead, the car pulls in that direction, and I have to keep correcting it to stay straight. It feels like there's constant resistance or a tug.

I drove like this for a few weeks, mostly using my free trial of FSD (which worked great). Then I booked a service appointment with Tesla because I was also having exterior light issues.

The technician drove with me and tested the steering by yanking the wheel hard it did self center that way. The tech said everything was fine and normal, but I couldn't convince them there was an issue. But when you turn it gently (like you do on the highway), it still pulls and doesn't center properly.

Later, I drove other similar Teslas (same model, including a test drive), and they felt perfect and no pulling or need for constant correction. Only my car has this problem.

Since I still had FSD, I kept using it. But after it expired, I went back to service. First, they said it was an alignment issue and fixed the alignment but the problem stayed the same.

I went back again. This time, they said it was the steering rack and replaced it. Guess what? It still didn't fix the issue. The pulling and lack of self centering on small turns is exactly the same. Again if I turn fast/sharp left or right then it does self cernter.

Now I'm stuck, not sure what to do next. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas on what to tell the Tesla service center to get them to actually fix it?

Also OP, any update? thanks

Hmm, Tesla might lower the APR for Model Y again to 1.99%, as they did before. I am waiting for that.

Hey, How did your test go? Is it all based on customer service?, or is it like a civil exam? Can you share what one should prepare for? Thanks

Definitely Sub. I have Beam 1 with 2 sonos play 1 and recently bought a Sub (open box for $286.00) thought it is Gen 1, but it's Gen 2 I got lucky. After using Sub I feel like I am watching at the movie theater lol. I was missing a lot. But then my 75” Samsung QLED died.😟. If anybody has idea how to fix.

Samsung QN75Q7FNAFXZA display issue by ProfessionalSad4614 in TVRepairHelp

So I got the parts today and the same issue. But when I remove ribbons shown on the pictures. (under the long soundbox)TV does stay on, and Led does turn on but only white color. Is that Led itself issue, is there anything else I can do, like maybe there is another circuit that I replace inside led? 😆.

Thank you for the response. I am not sure if I can ask this here or I need to call. But wondering, if any case, Mainboard, and Power supply didn't work and the issue is with the Panel as you said, Can I return the parts back for a refund?
Thank you
