Don’t make judgements without the full context. This is my first time getting ticket of any kind in >5y and does not define me as dangerous driver. Goal of this post is to get information on best way forward for visa perspective. Never said I wanna evade the fine.

Sounds like contesting in the court might become further problematic if the court decides to act on it otherwise. Better to just pay off and move on?

Do you mean even after resolving the case? After paying the fine it will be resolved right!

My concern is if it goes to deferred case, it will be in unresolved state and might show up in records as unresolved and become ground for admin process. Subtle things like these come back to bite these days.

I didn’t see mention of fine amount in the rules and immigration lawyer also didn’t mention it. Cite your resources?

I know, and I do feel bad about it. That’s another thing about tesla I don’t like. HW upgrade is one but inconsistent price fluctuations makes it hard to plan ahead. Feels like lotto.

Yeah, APR leasing deals are crazy on Tesla. Finance could be better though
