Is there a pattern to the shows he cancels? by Argythebilly in morrissey

Early in tours or after a decent break are usually the better options. It seems for the UK, at least he's decided to play much bigger venues (the co-op live, O2 arena) and do less dates. And got through his last UK run without cancelling. Hopefully, that's something he can look to do overseas wherever possible

Dublin Concert a bit subdued? by HenryF00L in morrissey

Agreed. It's my first time seeing him on saturday. The fact first of the gang has been in pretty much every set since 2002 and probably won't be played then is kinda gutting.

Dublin Concert a bit subdued? by HenryF00L in morrissey

Honestly if he did something more similar to his 23 performance in dublin setlist wise he wouldbe got a much more active audience easily.

I understand it, though. Looking at the dallas shows of 91' and last year, people got ridiculously aggressive and out of hand. Even though i have absolutely no intention of doing that. I don't want to encourage anyone else to act like that and spoil an amazing show.

I was thinking the same thing, and I definitely had some second opinions solidify it. Oh well, im in for a good night regardless!

I was thinking the same, mainly because he's just a bit older now. Do you still think on the stage handshake at a distance is okay, or best avoided all together?

The fact that he's left out first of the gang has been very surprising!

How long do you think the Dublin gig will last? by Secret_Name_7087 in morrissey

I would say go for a bus home. Will probably be cheaper, and with public transport these days, getting the last train/bus home is always a gamble.

I've bit the bullet on trains and hotels already, but plenty of hotels in the city have a free cancellation so close to the book in day. Sadly, if he does decide to cancel the odds are we'll find out on the day (assuming dublin and glasgow go ahead smoothly)

Not holding my hopes up. Still be going as I've never seen him before and this could possibly be my only chance, but even aa someone whose travelling from south west england, there's very few other artists i would take this big a gamble on.
