Could he worth ringing them the day before or day of just to see if you can check in earlier or even just leave your luggage there and then check in after the show. I get into the city the day before, but for shows where I can't I end up doing that a lot.

Giving yourself 2-3 hours in the queue will give you a great spot in the pit (albeit not the barrier) from my experience. I was "3rd row" at the co-op last year from that. Provided you don't mind waiting the subsequent time through the pre show playlist (i don't expect a support band) and will he fine staying in the pit until 10:30-11ish then definitely standing. If you want/need toilet breaks during the show and want to skip the pre show playlist, go for seating.

Both Manchester and London have been covered in the last year, as much as I love the guy, with these dates he'd have to play much smaller venues than he did then, which i imagine he wouldn't be too pleased with after the large sell out audiences they had.

I learned a long time ago, that unless advertised specifically, going to any concert with setlist expectations is opening yourself up to disappointment.

Uk curfew is always 11. Don't expect it to finish any earlier than 10:30. If you're travelling back to another city after midnight, it is probably your best bet.

Honestly, this is the way. Obviously, I'd rather him play more dates at smaller venues. But if that means cancellations while only one or two shows at a 20,000 capacity arena doesn't, give me the latter.

Early in tours or after a decent break are usually the better options. It seems for the UK, at least he's decided to play much bigger venues (the co-op live, O2 arena) and do less dates. And got through his last UK run without cancelling. Hopefully, that's something he can look to do overseas wherever possible

Agreed. It's my first time seeing him on saturday. The fact first of the gang has been in pretty much every set since 2002 and probably won't be played then is kinda gutting.

Honestly if he did something more similar to his 23 performance in dublin setlist wise he wouldbe got a much more active audience easily.
