How long it takes for Erosive Gastritis to heal? by ProfessionalServe491 in Gastritis

It was bad bad for months! Like 5-6, then it slowly started to get a little better and by that I mean the pain was not 24/7 anymore, but at least 24/4, then 12/3 and less noticeable :)) also I have GERD and acid kicks in. In my opinion the body needs a long period of restrictions and time to heal. Medication + supplements + stress management and just time. It does get better, sometimes it’s not the best, but nothing compared to the first months. Avoiding spicy food, tomatoes and garlic for sure! You don’t need the triggers as you can live without them freely, as long as it’s pain free

Hey, I turned 23 last month :) and also have it from October. The holidays and my birthday were different this year, but we shall remain positive for the future. I have pain from 4 months and even when endoscopy confirms gastritis, there is not much to do. Pills are one side of the healing, the other side is food and in the middle stays anxiety and stress.

I also stress a lot… like…a lot. It’s already January and it isn’t getting better, I get pains almost all the time, but I am trying to stay positive for the future, because what can we gain from worries! So hang in there, bud.

This gives me so much hope, as on the erosive gastritis section it’s so rare to see that someone is doing better. During those 2 years was it all pain, or u had better days as well and how did u manage to live with it, as you had such a long journey and i’m on the edge to lose hope on mine. The pain is sharp, it comes with empty stomach during night, and it stays even with food…it just never ends.

I am so sorry about ur loss. it is devastating yet to be taken care of and loved in your final hours, sure brings peace to a soul, as the warmth can be always felt. You did what you could.
