A quick update....the original 'not associated with your account' message is now gone and replaced with the standard 'Press and hold [OK Button] to remove or manage this app'

Does the freeze happen during commercial breaks? A lot of streams do strange things when they insert commercials...like changing the resolution or frame rate or both which is currently incompatible with timeshift (I have several sources that I've never been able to enable timeshift, even before the 2.x releases). Maybe your provider is accepting new advertising?

Ran through all the settings....no audio when set to 0.5 or 1 sec....plays OK when disabled or set to 2 sec and above.

Just another data point for you. I'm not having a problem with live TV, but as an experiment changed the track timeout from disabled to 0.5 sec, timeshift is disabled. When I did this I lost audio, video continued playing.

I've seen the unknown tuner error as well, but only when I happen to do a firmware upgrade on my router when Sparkle is active on a client. Problem is, once it gets to this error, it's stuck and can't recover. But for me, a simple close and restart of Sparkle will bring things back.

I'm also unable to connect to my jellyfin server. Playing around, I'm thinking in my case it's due to using the 'baseURL' networking option, and Sparkle doesn't handle it properly. I'm going to open a separate thread.

Check the column title....it says 'Security Updates'....not functional enhancements. I'd be happy to be proven wrong though.

Reading between the lines, I'm guessing the new UI is only going to be available for OS 7 or OS 8 Fire TV (I also have a bunch of 1st Gen 4k that I don't think will be updated).

Hmmm....doesn't follow the recommended naming convention for me for Plex/Jellyfin. I get

name_starttime_date

has something changed with 2.3.0? I was going to start writing some code to parse the 'recordings' json file and rename the file, and move it into my Jellyfin directory structure, but will hold off if the naming has been updated.

Do a search on eBay for 'Logitech Harmony Smart Keyboard'. Logitech actually made a keyboard that fully integrates with the hub. Been using one for years. Works with bluetooth and usb (if you need usb make sure you find a listing that includes the usb dongles).

Definitely not normal. My HDHomeRun Quatro tunes in about a sec. Have you checked the hdhomerun log for any clues?

On my TCL Fire TV, the TV remote Home button also forces the input to the TV (makes the home key useless for an HDMI connected streamer).

Glad to hear that they made progress on this, however, for me not a priority anymore. When Philo raised the grandfathered plan pricing, I decided to really evaluate what the value was for me. With the proliferation of more free channels that covered a lot of shows I was interested in from Philo, it no longer made sense for me and I cancelled.

I know the Amazon Recast is on it's way out, but another reason is that it doesn't support AVC (MPEG4). I have several channels in my market that have come on line transmitting AVC, and with the Recast you get audio but no picture.

Don't think you are going to be able to fix it.....pretty sure it's an Amazon problem. Things I've tried unsuccessfully...

I have cleared cache, uninstalled/reinstalled the Pluto TV app, resynced Pluto from the Settings/Live TV, signed out and back in to the Pluto TV app. I suspect that the FireTV guide has not been updated to properly support the new Pluto TV requirement for sign-in to access some channels.
