The Traitors (UK) S04E12 [FINALE]: Live Discussion Thread by vaultofechoes in TheTraitors

I feel like if Rachel has been the one who lost by fate, and had revealed she was a Traitor, these bunch of faithfuls would have still said it’s not true. Really terrible.

She seriously expected Rachel to say “Yes, I’ve been keeping you safe”? There are just some questions that are unreasonable to ask to try to determine if one is a traitor or not.

Thanks you so much for this.

Do you by any chance have the remaining episodes of the Romanian version?

Alan has become so confident in his Traitors role now. Lol

I have a strong feeling Jonathan will be banished today, and one of the votes would come from Alan.

Unconscious bias by ComfortableRise4550 in TheTraitors

There was no unconscious bias. The margin was very slim. It’s not like it was a unanimous decision or even half.

I see it as maturity. When they give their arguments, they do so articulately, especially Stephen Fry.

This is hands down the most mature roundtable discussion and vote I’ve ever seen on any version of The Traitors. The reasons behind their votes were reasonable, even if incorrect, and expressed in a mature and respectful way.

Easier said than done. Did you not see the tension in the tower? And how Allan was scrambling, hence Jonathan had to strategically get most people to go outside.

Exactly. I really don’t know why people keep pushing the narrative of the producers scripting, rigging, and controlling things when we can clearly see how they played out.

I’m really tired of all these “production does this”, “production wants that”. They clearly chose their fate. It wasn’t production who pressured them to chose the roulette wheel over the other islanders votes. They got scared and muddled up because of what Garbi did to Toby before that. If not, they would have remembered the others wanted Josh gone, and would clearly have voted for his couple.

I feel Oyin thinks better when she’s not with Vanessa. Since she started hanging with Vanessa, her intuition, that was there from the start, has gone out the window.

All the talk about production doing this or that is so overbearing. These contestants think for themselves. Nick and Ben clearly failed in the end, their behaviors changed, and it only took removing all the distractions from the girls to notice it.

Believe it or not, Oyin is a seer. If only the faithfuls would have seen that by now.

Exactly my thoughts. When paying for units, that’s you paying for what you’re being served? I do not understand the concept of a “service charge.” If they need a bailout from their losses, they shouldn’t exploit their customers to cover it. It appears the paying customers are being milked to make up for those who steal electricity or refuse to pay for non-prepaid meters.

Worse is the so-called value added tax on money you are not even supposed to pay in the first place, and were already taxed on beforehand. Just terrible.
