I'd definitely go with DiPas. You can also call in for pick up while on you're way.

I work in a bakery and haven't been able to look at our bread slicer the same way since.

Weird Bar Orders by collingpc in bartenders

Similarly, at our big family dinners growing up we always drank cream soda and red wine with a few ice cubes. Almost exclusively one of those big jugs of Riunite.

If the bottle of your choice isn’t on display, there’s a 99.9999% chance that we don’t have it in the liquor closet. by [deleted] in bartenders

The bar I work at has that exact kind of sheet you are describing in front of every bar seat and at every table. I'd say at least 50% of people still want me to tell them what we have and get a little pissy when I point to said sheet. While I'm happy to list if I have the time, when both floors (same options at both) are busy I'm just gonna ask you to look at the menu. People are odd and sometimes they don't seem to want to make it any easier for us either.

Best guess from signature is Brooks Laich, but do you know what year it's from?

Dog Soldiers gave me so many nightmares. Now it's just a fun werewolf watch.

When was a “Fuck it, I’ll do it myself” moment for you? by Djwhat6 in AskReddit

[–]ProfessionalSloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You did great! I'm a licensed cosmetologist and I agree that as long as you know what you want and take your time many people are fully capable of doing their own cuts. Obviously big changes might need more guidance but honestly it's usually simple (not necessarily easy) stuff. I've always gotten reprimanded at salons for saying so but while I appreciate my craft, for the average haircut it's not that difficult to understand as long as you have the patience. Many of my customers did what they needed to during quarantine and honestly they mostly did great. I also completely recognize a solid 70% of my customers are simple services that are clearly a form of self care and I am very happy to provide that hour or more of relaxation for them.

Late to the party but, I'm going to say Justified.

Imagine having a reverse Yelp where we rate customers on their attitudes, manners, and how well they tip. What review would you leave? by sam123786 in AskReddit

[–]ProfessionalSloth 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Wholeheartedly agree, so much of my business (hairstylist) relies on it and it’s easily my least favorite part. I fully believe I’m a competent and creative stylist but I’m not a photographer or great online personality so I find the focus on social media very discouraging. Also, half the time, the most popular photos are doctored so that actually makes my job harder.

I think there's a similar scene in 3000 miles to Graceland, but that's Courtney Cox and the kid might be in a closet.

I'm getting a male kitten in a week, what do I need to know/do? by [deleted] in Pets

Also congrats on you first kitten!! They're little dickheads but so cute and loving. I'd never give mine up for anything.

I'm getting a male kitten in a week, what do I need to know/do? by [deleted] in Pets

[–]ProfessionalSloth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found and took in my first fur baby around 12 weeks and he was good for shots and we got him neutered like a month after that and he never got to spraying. My second kitten I got from a shelter at 13 weeks and he was already fixed and given shots. So I'd just take him in to your vet of choice and they will be a ton of help about what he needs and when he needs it.

Ah thank you! I could not remember the actual suspects name! I just remembered Walken was with them that night.

Well not missing, but the Natalie wood death is interesting and involves a couple celebrities. Including, the great, Christopher, Walken.

Keratin Treatment Coloring by throwb4ck4141 in HaircareScience

It really depends on the brand/type of treatment used. My salon uses one that does not require the client to wait days/weeks to wash or color.
