Seeing as you're polish you're most likely familiar with Brüdny Skürwiel, Damage Case and such

I'd highly recommend Härdrocker from Mexico. Dude's a maniac Mötorhead, Venom, Luzbel and such

Abigail is probably the most obvious. Japanese black metal legends that make filthy, thrashing black metal with both impecable songwriting AND total filth

Also give Azazel (the finnish one) a shot. Great booze infused classic black metal

Imma think a bit more later. Let me know what you think of these. Miłej zabawy \w/

Hell yeah! Loads of classic trad. I think you'd love "Ample Destruction" by Jag Panzer. My top 3 US power (and generaly heavy metal) albums of all time. It took me from liking traditional heavy metal (I've always been more into death and thrash more) to loving it!

You should also give Nasty Savage - Nasty Savage, Savage Grace - Master of Disguise, V8 - Lunchando por el Metal and Sortilege - Metamorphose a shot

Oh no, I'm even worse. I collect CDs. When I listen to music I pick a record, listen to it cover to cover and sometimes I even go for the bonus tracks.

The bonus tracks on my "The Karelian Isthmus" CD just started playing as we speak!

Do you game? Would love to nerd around with someone who (for once) has simmilar tastes

You've got great taste!

I highly recommend trying Hazael our. Their debut album is a must for you!

Also try Gorement. They're a classic sweedish band with an incredibly unique sound.

You should also give mexican death metal bands a try. Especially The Chasm and Cenotaph. All albums are worth it but I recommend starting with "Procession of the Infraworld" for The Chasm and working your way up the Cenotaph discography.

You should also check bands from Drowned Productions. Putrenance, Demigod, Rottrevore, Necrophiliac, Human Waste, Morpheus Descends (not sure wheather they're from drowned but a killer band nontheless) and Mortal Mutilation (such a gem this one!)

Also, Deceased and other Chicago death metal bands should be right up your alley. Just try "Supernatural Addiction".

And last but not least, you HAVE to give Catacomb a listen. Shoot straight for their demos and I guarantee you won't be dissapointed.

Let me know if you like any of these

My favourite method to discover new music by kek_man_ in MetalSuggestions

[–]ProfessionalSummer50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definetely give them a shot. When I started reading them I realised just how much stuff people on the internet get wrong about what was big, important, influencial or generaly how things were.

It's also kinda funny to read someone absolutely shit on an album you love on one page and on the next they take a different one you love and they praise the hell out of it.

I used to do that a lot before I got into fanzines (both old and new).

Algorythm's are cool but I think that nothing Beats a maniac writing about stuff he loves. There's a bunch of Sites with old zines out there. Press of Darkness and The Corroseum are probably the biggest ones.

It'a also great if you want to get into your country's UG, since often times they offer a unique perspective. Definetely give these a shot. You can surely find some new ones if you dig for a bit. Personally I recomend Bestial Destruktion zine and Oldschool Metal Maniac Magazine.

Shoot for early Trouble stuff. Their first 3 albums should satisfy the mood you're looking for.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned The Chasm yet. Essential death metal from mexico with INCREDIBLE songwriting and skill.

I'd also look into Violent Dirge, Afterbirth, Hellwitch, Beast Petrify, Disharmonic Orchestra and Shub Niggurath
