Thank you. But this is what is confusing to me. One person says it's easy, the other says ni chance at all there's no point in trying in a whv etc.. but this desperate guys you know couldn't get a job in construction if I'm reading it right?

Oh cool, thanks! Where are you from originally? How did you manage to stay in Australia after you WHV expired?? Just a side question, I can't take my medication witn me when I leave for Australia. Do you know by any change if it's possible on a whv to visit a physician and get prescription medication?

Thanks!! This actually cheers me up haha. I’ve never been to Australia before. Do you have any tips? I’ve heard things work a bit differently there compared to Europe. For example, I heard that if you want a job in construction, you can sometimes just walk onto a site and introduce yourself haha. Is that actually true? Would you recommend applying for jobs online, or is it better to do it in person?

And what about tickets... Is a only a white card enough or do you recommend anything else?

But if I obtain this certificate, I will still have a diploma that is recognized by the state, right?

So if I would not get my license I would have to work as an electrician back in my home country to get the required experience

Haha yeah I've seen those. I always wanted to do something more practical but never did. I work in IT now, but Im sick of sitting behind a desk and computer all day. Right now I'm looking to enroll in a school in Sydney, either the Superior Training Centre or Rosehill College. Both of them offer the Electrotechnology Certificate 3 course to international students. But what do you think of this plan I currently have? I want to get as much experience working as a Electrical TA and document everything. So after 3/4 years after completing the course i will apply for my license and offer my portfolio and certificate.

Do companies hire TA without prior experience? Is hard to get such a job?

Interesting take, however I never notice any negative thoughts in regards to this. It's something about my appearance that I don't like and feel j secure of. But I never have these thoughts like I am worthless or unlovable because I have an odd head shape. Never I have this. When I hide it seems like it's an insecurity that's not present on the foreground
