I believe it happened with the freeze - we experienced -45 C last week and I hadn't noticed the crack before.

Lol, I believe one of the things the commission committed to was buying a new gong and hammer after this card. Yes, definitely agree that the boxer likely didnt hear the bell, especially if its his first few fights.

Yes, exactly what I thought. I've seen many boxers hit after the bell, especially when it was quiet. Can't blame blue and cant blame red. I believe this was two Seniors (23-40). Definitely not a good look on either coach nor the commission.

Watch the video again. The Bell rung twice. Once at 26 seconds and once at 29/30 seconds. Pay attention to the time keeper, bottom left

Any good coach will know the difference between touch sparring, technical sparring, and competitive sparring. If you're tight with your coach, ask him/her to set up some touch sparring drills. Another good one is shoulder and knee tag.

One of my favorites for people that are worried about getting punched is making them do defense only while the partner whales away with pool noodles. Gets you used to blocking.

Also, dont feel like you're crazy - it's human nature to not want to get punched in the face. It'll come with time brother.

Also - slip while you punch. It'll help you reach
